Our health and safety policy is written in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all relevant legislation, including the Management of Health and Safety at Work regulations 1999. A full copy of the policy can be supplied upon request.
Statement of the Policy
It is the policy of BAKS Ltd to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all its employees and all other persons who may be affected by our acts or omissions, (eg, members of the public). In addition we operate a ‘Worksafe’ policy and all our employees and subcontractors have the right to refuse to carry out any works without recourse should they genuinely believe it poses an unacceptable risk to theirs, or others safety, health or wellbeing.
The power of our Health and Safety policy extends to the following:

- Every organisation or persons who are in contractual contact with
The policy document will be continually monitored and updated, particularly when changes in the scale and nature of our operations occur. The policy will be reviewed and updated at least annually.
BAKS has a professional health and safety advisor to assist:
Risk assessments, Method statements, Regular site visits, Tool box talks, Training, Yearly audits, Fire risk assessments on site, Site meetings, CDM-C for the larger contracts.

I have worked for Baks Ltd for the last 3 years as the Health and Safety Advisor. I find that Mick Mannion and Sergio take health very seriously and yearly allocate a separate health and safety budget. I work for Baks Ltd on a contract basis which is renewed annually and at present visit three sites at which they are currently working at.
